The Northern Alliance Radio Network will be on the air today, with our six-hour-long broadcast schedule starting at 11 am CT. The first two hours features Power Line’s John Hinderaker and Chad and Brian from Fraters Libertas. Mitch and I hit the airwaves for the second shift from 1-3 pm CT, and King Banaian and Michael Broadkorb have The Final Word from 3-5. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you can hear us on AM 1280 The Patriot, or on the station’s Internet stream if you’re outside of the broadcast area.
Today, Mitch and I will have plenty to discuss. The Troopergate report has been released — is it a game-changer, or has it already been factored into the election? Who won the second presidential debate, and did it put a nation to sleep? Will McCain take off the gloves while still demanding respect for his opponent? All of this and more today, so don’t miss a moment.
Be sure to call 651-289-4488 to join the conversation! And join us on video, where you can watch Mitch and I in the studio live during the show. Update: Here’s the vidcast of today’s show:
Plus, be sure to join a live Ustream chat during the show:

Here’s another topic that will hopefully bring fruits of justice to the table…
CHICAGO (AP) - Jailed political fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko, the Chicago real estate developer who helped launch Barack Obama on his political career, is whispering secrets to federal prosecutors about corruption in Illinois and the political fallout could be explosive.
Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich, whose administration faces multiple federal investigations over how it handed out jobs and money with advice from Rezko, is considered the most vulnerable.
Rezko also was friendly with Obama - offering him a job when he finished law school, funding his earliest political campaigns and purchasing a lot next to his house. But based on the known facts, charges so far and testimony at Rezko’s trial, there’s no indication there’ll be an October surprise that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee - even though Rezko says prosecutors are pressing him for dirt about Obama.

I posted about ACORN’s national spokesman going on the record last night. Here’s the link to that post.

I am totally morose about this now. Even Larry Kudlow is talking about how Obama might not be so bad.
The upside is maybe they will pull Limbaugh off the air so we do not have to listen to him turning our candidate into a cartoon character or smearing Romney supporters with labels like “mittens” as if we were brainless groupies.
Screw the GOP for their incompetance.

That pathetic tool was interviewed by Alison Camerotta (sp) this morning, where he was a guest along with John Fund. He kept interrupting Fund, and making “STTT STTT STTT” noises when he was talking. When Fund brought up the fact that ACORN sued to be exempted by the very minimum wage laws they are advocates for, Levenson responded as if this was an unfair personal attack.
If I’d been the producer I would have turned his freaking mic off.
Please. Get a grip! I’m a Mitten and I heard that episode, and in no way did I feel that Rush was “smearing” Romney.
And if you can’t take McCain being compared to Yosemite Sam, then you have a very low threshold for “smears”.

Speak of the Devil, I see that the interview with the tool has been posted upstairs.
